I agree with Dana Cheletee about how truthful little one are and how their opinions can be used to establish if there were impacted positively, attracted and engaged by the lesson based on Active Board and its interactive software more than a regular lesson based on a worksheet. I am looking forward to seat with my students and listen to their opinions. Casey Smith agreed with the same idea about thrusting first grades about their opinions. Mrs. Abshire mentioned to me that Promethean Planet is an excellent resource for finding information about Active Board. I agree, just two days ago I had a faculty meeting and one of my L F Smith peers was sharing a flip chart downloaded from Promethean planet and frankly what I can say is that it was awesome.

Active Board Students Engagement Increase
The problem: Students because of technology and high levels of media exposure are used to receive high volumes of information and stimulation during short period of time. Because of this, students attention spam has become shorter and motivation and promoting engagement techniques have become an essential tool for anyone trying to spend a day in a classroom and achieve learning from students. Because of this my inquiry is what is the relationship between Active Board usage in a lesson and students engagement and attention spam increase?
Goals and objectives/outcomes of the research investigation: Measure the impact on attention spam and students engagement of multimedia lesson based on Active Boards and how it helps students to succeed academically and motivate the usage of Active Board among LF Smith Elementary teachers.
Activities designed to achieve the objectives:
Interactive lesson plan, regular worksheet lesson plan, student survey, teacher survey.
Resources and research tools needed for data gathering:
- Active Board hardware
- Active inspire software
- Lesson plan
- Assessments
- Students survey
- Teacher Survey
- Power Point Presentation
Draft time line for completion or implementation of activities
